Operation Enduring Freedom
The War on Terrorism is the first war
of the 21st century and began after the attack on American on September 11, 2001.
Violent acts committed by stateless organizations against established powers are
terrorism. Those currently serving in the military are defending our liberty and
protecting our interests both at home and abroad.
Operation Enduring Freedom: Afghanistan/Pakistan began Oct. 7, 2001.

- GOBLE, Donald R. (12) - Afghanistan from Aug. 2008 to Aug. 2009 with the U.S.
Navy
- GOBLE, Ryan E. (13) - Serving in the U. S. Marines
- JOHNSON, Jeremie
Alan (14) - U. S. Army, serving in Germany.
- LOZANO, Daniel Albert (13) - Served as
a U. S. Marine in Afghanistan in 2010 and was injured in May of that year. He received a
medical discharge in January 2012 after spending 1 1/2 years at Balboa Hospital in San

- McINTOSH/DILLS/GOBEL, Alice Lucille, was stationed in Teagu, Korea, at Camp
Walker, U.S. Army and served 1 year during Operation Enduring Freedom as a mechanic. She
was transferred to Fort Huachuca and left the Army August 5, 2002. She is the
granddaughter of George Gobel, the comedian.
- ROBERSON, John - Major - Serving in Afghanistan with 2 prior deployments to Iraq. Graduate of US Military Academy, West Point. (Thomas Goble Tree) Src: Angelia Roberson
- STEEN, Eldon Robert (13) - Major retired, Served in the U. S. Air Force
