The sign reads "Quality First" Pure Meat Products. This is a wooden sign of some age. Gobel Meat Products was located in Brooklyn, New York. They apparently went out of business about 1947. They were primarily a pork packer and had an Iowa slaughtering location. Butchering and packing were done in New York and shipment was primarily into Northeastern markets.
