Wilson and Parthany Wilson, who, being duly sworn, on oath depose and say that they are well acquainted with Rachel Wood , who makes the foregoing application and statements, and have known her for 40years and 40 years, respectively, and know her, to be the identical person she represents to be, and the statements made by her are true, to the best of their knowledge and belief, and they have no interest whatever in her claim.

ABSTRACTER'S NOTES: Rachel Wood was mistaken as to her birth year. She stated 1855 but she was listed as 3 years old on the Siler and Champan rolls of 1851/1852. The birth year of 1848 in my records would seem correct.
