Sir:

Replying to your letter of January 20, 1910, in which you state that George W. Goble is now deceased, you are advised that he was enrolled with his four minor children for participation in the Eastern Cherokee Fund.

The amount due the minor children will probably be paid to the mother, or person having the care and custody of the children.

I am unable to state, at this time, just when the fund will be distributed but it will probably be some little time yet.

        Very Respectfully,

        Special Commisioner.
