William Goble, father of Thomas (1) Goble

Recently our cousin, Jaimie Wright, sent me some interesting information. From this information I have discerned that William Goble, the progenitor of our Thomas Goble tree, was born in Tillington, Petworth, Sussex in about 1513 or before.

Tillington is north of Aldingbourne by 10.2 miles.

The definition of "husbandman" is a person who operates a farm.

This is information we have been looking for for years and it should help us in our search to connect other English lines to our own. Thank you Jaimie for the clue!
